Land’s End employees win hospitality industry awards

Staff at Land’s End Resort won six awards at the Alaska Hotel &Lodging Association’s 20th annual “Stars of the Industry” awards ceremony in Anchorage. The program honors those throughout the Alaska hospitality industry who show outstanding accomplishment in their fields. Land’s End had 15 nominees out of 135 state-wide nominees. Winning awards are:

• Trina Brooks, Housekeeping Manager of the Year

• Sarah Concia, Food &Beverage Manager of the Year

• Nilla Kalugin, Accounting &Administrative/Clerical Employee of the Year

• Cobrey Lewis, Maintenance/Security Employee of the Year

• Lea Miller, Spirit of Hospitality

• Pamela Soderholdm, Accounting/Human Resources Manager of the Year

Also nominated were Jean Adams, Food &Beverage Manager of the Year; Brenda Fluette, Housekeeping Employee of the Year; Gage Flyum, Food &Beverage Employee of the Year; Jesmin Garza, Rising Star of the Year; Heidi Loop, Guest Services Manager of the Year; Zach Raham, Front Office Employee of the Year; Maria Reutov, Accounting &Administrative/Clerical Employee of the Year; Laksmi Ruiz, Food &Beverage Employee of the Year, and Debbie Seaman, Housekeeping Manager of the Year.
