Trooper report

Dec. 28

Alaska State Troopers at 6:04 p.m made a traffic stop on a 44-year-old Anchor Point man in Anchor Point. Troopers arrested the man for driving while license revoked.

Troopers at 8:36 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 40-year-old Anchor Point man in Anchor Point. Troopers said the man was out of jail on conditions of release for a prior arrest for driving while license revoked. Troopers arrested the man for violating conditions of release and DWLR.

Dec. 28

A person at 10:05 a.m. made a 911 call of an armed robbery at an Ohlson Lane shop. Police responded.

A caller at 10:05 a.m. reported a theft from a car on Kachemak Drive.

Police at 2:19 p.m. arrested a 28-year-old man on a warrant.

Dec. 29

A police officer at 2:51 a.m. reported a car off Skyline Drive that was stuck.

A caller at 8:19 a.m. reported a civil issue involving a towed vehicle on the Spit.

Clarence S. Hock, 24, charges dismissed, first-degree armed robbery, second-degree theft.

Trooper Report

Dec. 20

Alaska State Troopers at 7:07 p.m. made a traffic stop for speeding on the driver of a Ford pickup truck near Mile 82 Sterling Highway in Sterling. Troopers said a 34-year-old Anchor Point woman in the truck had an outstanding warrant for her arrest for failure to comply with conditions of parole. Troopers arrested the woman and took her to Wildwood Pretrial Facility in Kenai.

A caller at 10:45 a.m. reported receiving threats. Police advised options.

A man at 12:05 p.m. reported a hit-and-run incident.

A person at 1:29 p.m. made a 911 call requesting help with a person locked out of their car in a Heath Street parking lot. Police provided phone numbers for alternative help.

Several people at 4:55 p.m. reported hearing a loud blast or fireworks noises at Bishop’s Beach.

Rupert T. Jones, 28, charge dismissed, fourth-degree assault.

Rebecca M. Clarke, 38, charges dismissed, fourth-degree theft, first-degree criminal trespassing.

Troopers

Dec. 15

Alaska State Troopers at 2:30 p.m. received a report of stolen heating oil from a shop near Mile 157 Sterling Highway. Anyone with information is asked to call the Anchor Point Post at 235-8239.

Dec. 17

Troopers went to a moose-car crash near Mile 19 East End Road. The driver, a 36-year-old Homer woman, woman wore her seat belt and was not injured.

Dec. 14

A caller at 9:43 a.m. reported a theft at an East End Road address.

A man at 1 p.m. reported a theft from a car parked on the Homer Spit.

A caller at 5:33 p.m. reported hearing noise that sounded like gun shots in the Kachemak Way area. Police responded but didn’t find anything.

Dec. 15

A caller at 3:30 p.m. reported a theft from a boat at the harbor.

A person at 3:35 p.m. turned in a coat found at the harbor.

Homer Fire

Dec. 14-21

Firefighters and emergency medical technicians went to six medical calls and two fire calls.
