A caller at 12:24 p.m. asked police to issue a trespass notice to a man who had caused a disturbance at a Bunnell Avenue motel. The man was issued an indefinite trespass notice.

A woman at 3:02 p.m. made a 911 call reporting a group of men acting suspiciously outside a Ben Walters Lane business. Police could not locate the suspects.

A man at 4:15 p.m. reported a person racing a 4-wheeler up and down Soundview Avenue.

A woman at 7:43 p.m. reported a hit-and-run crash on Pioneer Avenue.

April 2

Alaska State Troopers at 9:11 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 32-year-old Homer man driving a Chrysler mini-van near Mile 1 East End Road. Troopers arrested the man for driving under the influence and possession of a personal-use amount of marijuana.

April 6

Troopers at 9:25 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 39-year-old Kenai man in Homer. Troopers arrested him on an outstanding warrant.

A man at 1:48 p.m. turned in a pair of prescription eyeglasses found in the Crittenden Drive area.

A caller at 2:55 p.m. reported an assault at a Fairview Avenue address. Police responded.

Police at 7:12 p.m. and 7:16 p.m. warned people for driving in a prohibited area on Bishop’s Beach.

Police at 9:15 p.m. contacted a 54-year-old woman at a Pioneer Avenue address and arrested her on an outstanding warrant.

A woman at 8:25 p.m. reported a drunk woman at a Sterling Highway store. Police responded and issued a warning to the woman for driving under the influence.

She was sentenced to 10 days in jail with nine days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program; and was placed on probation for one year.
