April artist-in-residence holds carving workshops

Adrien Segal, the April Old Town Artist in Residence at Bunnell Street Arts Center, holds spoon carving workshops 2-6 p.m. today and Friday at Bunnell Street Arts Center. Segal, a California sculptor, invites people to carve wood into a small sculpture or useful object, such as a spoon, during community workshops. The fee is $10-$20 per session or pay as you can. During her residency Segal will combine site-specific scientific studies and shared experiences and create a process installation at the gallery. For more on her work, visit adriensegal.com. Segal started her residency last week and visits through May 16.
