Get inspired by film fest

Feeling itchy to get out and get active? Do your kids have cabin fever? Get inspired by the Telluride Film Festival, coming on Jan. 23rd and 25th at 7 p.m.

Take note that at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 23, there will be a ski swap at Homer High School. And here’s a bonu: free introductory snowboarding lessons for youth, up at the rope tow. The instructor will be Homer High School volunteer Jake Worsfold. The lessons will be one-hour long, and there will be two separate sessions of four lessons each, Feb. 2, 9, 16 and 23 and March 2, 9, 16 and 23.  The only requirement is a daily lift ticket, which is $5 for students. Advance registration is recommended. Please contact George at 399-6255 to register, and call 235-7669 (-SNOW) anytime for updates. Thank you and we hope to see you and your kids up on the hill soon.
