As someone who has dispatched Homer Electric’s crews for too many years to count, I just want to say there is not a group of human beings with more fortitude and capacity than IBEW linemen. The storms they brave to keep their community in vital power is unparalleled in effort. When the going gets tough they get tougher. As far as I’m concerned, they are the Special Forces on the civilian side of things.
