A caller at 12:06 p.m. reported a vehicle impeding snow removal on Katie Jean Circle. Police contacted the caretaker of the property who said the vehicle would be removed.
A caller at 3:03 p.m. reported a man issued a trespass notice from a Spit business had returned and was in the parking lot. Police responded.
A caller at 7:17 p.m. reported a man issued a trespass notice from a Sterling Highway business had returned. Police responded.
A caller at 7:54 p.m. reported a disturbance at a Sterling Highway business. Police responded and arrested a woman for trespassing.
A caller at 8:44 p.m. reported a suspicious vehicle parked on city property on Dehel Avenue. Police responded and issued a summons for fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance to a 25-year-old man.
A person at 8:58 p.m. made a 911 call asking for police to have a drunk woman leave a Pioneer Avenue address. Police responded but the woman had left before police arrived.
A person at 9:14 p.m. made a 911 call reporting suspicious circumstances regarding a civil issue at a Sterling Highway address. Police responded and transported a man from the scene.
A caller at 10:34 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a family member at a Lake Street address. Police contacted the person and found all was OK.
A person at 10:27 p.m. made a 911 call reporting a barking dog blocked entrance to a public area on Fairview Avenue. Police responded and found the dog had fled.
A caller at 12:26 a.m. reported a suspicious vehicle and person in the parking lot of an Ohlson Lane business. Police responded.
Police at 1:08 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 37-year-old man driving on East End Road near Mariner Drive and issued him a summons for driving while license revoked.
Police at 2:22 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 48-year-old man driving on the Sterling Highway near Saltwater Drive and issued him a summons for no insurance and improper use of registration.
A caller at 8:09 p.m. reported a dog that appeared to be lost sitting and howling in a Bartlett Street parking lot. Police notified the animal control officer.
A caller at 8:30 p.m. reported concerns over court paperwork. Police advised the caller of options.

A caller at 9:54 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a woman who acted strangely at a Sterling Highway address. Police responded and arrested a 31-year-old woman on an outstanding warrant.
A man at 1:34 a.m. made a 911 call reporting his friend was drunk and suicidal at a Svedlund Street address. Police responded and the man was taken to South Peninsula Hospital.
Police at 3:18 a.m. contacted a driver in a vehicle at a closed Sterling Highway business. Police issued the person a warning for driving under the influence and a taxi took the person home.
A caller at 8:24 a.m. reported a driver in a vehicle swerving on Ocean Drive. Police responded.
A caller at 9:01 a.m. reported suspicious activity at a Bunnell Avenue home. Police responded.
A caller at 1:55 p.m. reported a driver in a motorhome with a tarp obscuring the windshield and travelling on East End Road. Police stopped the driver and arranged for a towing company to assist delivery of the motorhome to the landfill.
A caller at 4:32 p.m. reported a person driving on Soundview Avenue threw a bottle out of a moving vehicle at a person running on the road. Police contacted the caller and runner and put out a “be on the lookout” notice for the driver.
A person at 4:49 p.m. made a 911 call of forced burglary at an East Hill Road home. Police responded.
A caller at 7:40 p.m. reported a patient out of control at the hospital and asked for police assistance. Police responded and arrested a 30-year-old woman for violating conditions of release.
A man at 10:34 p.m. made a 911 call saying his wife needed medical assistance at their Beluga Court home. Police and medics responded.
A caller at 4:46 a.m. reported a missing vehicle that might have been stolen from a Pennock Street home. The caller later found the vehicle.
A person at 11:02 a.m. made a 911 call for a theft from a Sterling Highway building. Police responded.
A man at 8:49 p.m. made a 911 call that he had been kicked out of his Pioneer Avenue hotel room. Police responded and arrested a 58-year-old man on a warrant.
Police at 1:09 a.m, contacted a 22-year-old woman driving on East End Road and arrested her for DUI.
A caller at 6:01 p.m. reported an unattended burn on vacant land on Tulin Bluff East Court. Police responded and found a good Samaritan on the scene was already putting out the fire with a shovel.
A caller at 8:36 p.m. reported missing or stolen medication from a Kachemak Drive home.
A caller at 10:23 p.m. reported a drunk man stumbling and falling in a Sterling Highway parking lot. Police contacted the man and found all was OK.
A caller at 11:12 a.m. reported a person trespassing on the Spit.
A caller reported a domestic dispute over property at an East End Road address. Police responded.
Alaska State Troopers went to a suspicious call at an Old East End Road address and found a 38-year-old Wasilla woman was involved. Troopers found she had an active warrant and arrested her.
Troopers at 4:51 p.m. went to a report of a broken stop light at the intersection of Kalifornsky Beach Road and Bridge Access Road in Kenai. Troopers said a 54-year-old Homer man driving a semi-tractor trailer hit the light. Troopers cited the man for exceeding the overlimit of an oversized vehicle permit. Road crews fixed the light.
An Anchor Point woman reported a 31-year-old Anchor Point man stole her S10 Chevrolet pickup truck. At 11:05 a.m. Oct. 21 troopers received a report of two suspicious vehicles at an Anchor Point business and found the man driving the stolen truck. Troopers arrested the man for first-degree vehicle theft and driving under the influence, drugs. Troopers arrested a 29-year-old Homer woman for a probation violation. Troopers said that while she was in a holding cell at the Anchor Point Trooper Post the woman damaged state property. Troopers cited her for fifth-degree criminal mischief.

Court records show the following actions taken in Homer District Court through Oct. 21:
Timothy Hemmrich, 59, pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment. He was fined $1,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 30 days in jail with 25 days suspended and ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service; ordered to provide a DNA sample on request; and was placed on probation for one year.
James T. Stanley, 45, Kasilof, pleaded guilty to violating conditions of release. He was sentenced to five days in jail and ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended.
Anatoly Kojin, 31, Anchor Point, charges dismissed, fourth-degree assault and interfering with a report of domestic violence. He pleaded guilty to another charge of fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. He was fined $1,000 with $1,000 suspended and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 60 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered not to contact his victim except by telephone; and was placed on probation for two years.
Ramonne E. Kirksey, 36, charge dismissed, driving without a valid operator’s license. He pleaded guilty to second-degree failure to stop at the direction of a police officer. He was sentenced to 20 days in jail with 20 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for one year.
