Alaska State Troopers at 10 a.m. went to a crash near Anchor Point. Troopers said a 59-year-old Kasilof man suffered minor injuries but totaled his 2000 Subaru.
Troopers at 3:40 p.m. contacted a 28-year-old Homer man in Homer and found he had an outstanding warrant. Troopers arrested the man.
Troopers at 7:53 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 28-year-old Ninilchik woman driving near Mile 5 East End Road. Troopers said she had a suspended driver’s license and arrested her.
Troopers at 12:07 p.m. received a report from a 56-year-old Homer man that his backpack had been stolen at Alyeska Resort in Girdwood. The man said he left his backpack on a ski rack and that sometime the day earlier it was stolen. The backpack and contents were valued at $730. Anyone with information is asked to call troopers at the Girdwood post, 907-262-4453.
Troopers at 8:52 p.m. received a report of an assault at a Port Graham home. Troopers said a 59-year-old Port Graham man and a 53-year-old Port Graham man had assaulted a relative. Troopers responded and arrested the two men on March 23.
Troopers at 8:05 p.m. went to a burglary at an Anchor Point home on North Fork Road. The victim reported a red 2007 Arctic Cat 700 ATV had been stolen. At 8:16 p.m. while responding troopers saw the stolen ATV on Dorothy Road and said it was in possession of a 28-year-old Anchor Point woman. Troopers said the woman also had keys to the ATV and the home, clothing of the victim and other items from inside and outside the home. Troopers arrested the woman for first-degree burglary, second-degree vehicle theft, first-degree criminal trespassing and third-degree theft. Troopers said alcohol and controlled substances were involved in the incident.
Troopers at 5:33 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 67-year-old Ninilchik man driving on the North Fork Road near David Lee Street. Troopers said the man had a revoked driver’s license and he also failed to have insurance on his vehicle. He was arrested and transported to the Homer Jail.
