A caller at 8:20 p.m. made a REDDI complaint of a driver on the Spit. Police contacted the driver and did not see any impairment.
A caller at 8:49 p.m. reported finding bones on the beach near Mud Bay. Police responded and found the bones were from an animal.
A caller at 10:05 p.m. reported a suspicious vehicle and possible drug activity at a Klondike Avenue home.
A caller at 11:20 p.m. reported a person driving recklessly on Bishop’s Beach. Police responded but did not find any reckless drivers.

A person at 6:18 p.m. made a 911 call of a fight in progress on Little Fireweed Lane. Police responded and issued a summons to a 21-year-old woman for driving without an operator’s license.
A woman at 8:09 p.m. made a 911 call that her dog was stolen on the Spit.

Police at 2:33 a.m. did a security check at an FAA Road address and saw two people sleeping on a bench. Police took two men to Refuge Chapel.
A person at 3:23 a.m. made a 911 call that a person in dark clothing walked in the middle of the road near Mile 170 Sterling Highway. Police responded but did not find the person.
A caller at 3:17 p.m. reported a dog chased a moose and the moose was hit by a vehicle on Fairview Avenue.
A caller at 3:54 p.m. reported several young people climbing on top of a Sterling Highway business. Police responded.
A caller at 10:03 a.m. reported a man had threatened to hurt himself. Police passed on the information to Alaska State Troopers to do a welfare check.
A caller at 1:12 p.m. reported a man shooting on Bishop’s Beach.
A person at 1:48 p.m. made a 911 call reporting a child left unattended in a car at a Sterling Highway parking lot. Police responded but did not find the child.
A person at 3:01 p.m. made a 911 call that a drunk man fell down at a Grubstake Avenue address.
A person at 6:09 p.m. made a 911 call that a driver spun brodies on the caller’s East Hill Road property. Police contacted the driver and issued a trespass notice.
A caller at 8:40 p.m. reported drunk men hanging around an East End Road business. Police at 8:50 p.m. got a 911 call of a disturbance involving the same men. Police responded and contacted a 50-year-old woman and arrested her for violating conditions of release.
A person at 1:20 a.m. made a 911 call of a man lying on the side of East End Road. Police responded but could not find the man.
Police at 9:43 a.m. made a traffic stop on a 42-year-old man on Ocean Drive and arrested him for driving while license suspended.
A caller at 10:37 a.m. reported an erratic driver spinning brodies in an Ocean Drive parking lot.
A man at 11:45 a.m. came by the police station to report a theft.
A caller at 12:41 p.m. reported young people were inside a Bonanza Avenue home while the owner was out of town. Police responded and told the young people to stay out of the residence unless the owner was present.
A man at 12:46 p.m. reported finding a dead man on the Homer Spit in the rocks near Mile 1 Spit Road. Police responded and determined a man had died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The body was sent to the Alaska Medical Examiner’s officer for an autopsy and identification.
A caller at 3:27 p.m. reported a shoplifter at a Pioneer Avenue store. Police responded and issued a summons to a 44-year-old woman for fourth-degree theft.
A caller at 8:21 a.m. reported a moose with a broken leg on Mountainview Avenue. Police notified the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and also checked out the moose. The moose was up and able to walk and eat with an injured leg.
A 33-year-old man at 1:59 p.m. reported to the police station and said he had an outstanding warrant. Police arrested the man for failure to appear in court and released him on bail.
Police at 3:07 p.m. contacted a 41-year-old man on Mattox Road and issued him a summons for driving while license suspended.
Several people at 7:08 p.m. made 911 calls that a drunk man caused a disturbance at Bishop’s Beach. Police responded.
A person at 1:51 a.m. made a 911 call of an unresponsive woman at a Pioneer Avenue parking lot. Police responded and assisted medics.

A person at 10:32 p.m. made a 911 call of two drunk people trying to leave a Ben Walter’s Lane address. Police provided transportation to a local hotel.
