Aaron Loren Morris

Aaron Loren Morris, 48, died unexpectedly at South Peninsula Hospital on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015.

Mr. Morris was born Feb. 9, 1966, in Tucumcari, N.M. He worked for Kay’s Concrete, Best Transit Mix, and Dibble Creek Rock most recently.

The family wrote, “We have lost a wonderful man who lived each day with a robust zest for life. He faced each day with a strong determination to have an impact on those around him. Aaron believed a man’s word was his worth and in a hard day’s work for a day of pay. He could be as stubborn as a mule, had a flare of an Irish temper and the touch of a leprechaun’s humor that loved to kid around. He was quick to laugh and smile and he could retell a story with such enthusiasm and heart that you felt like you were witnessing it for the first time. He had a heart of gold that was willing to lend a hand when he could, and if the situation warranted he would give the shirt off his back. He touched many lives with his genuine love for life. He was a loving father, devoted husband and an adoring grandfather and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by his family, his friends and all that had the privilege of knowing him.”

He was preceded in death by his father, Niel Holtom.
