Mary Jane Naumann, 72, died April 29, 2015, at South Peninsula Hospital. Mary Jane Pooler was born Oct. 10, 1942, in Todd County, Minn., to Arvin and Alice (Morrow) Pooler. As a young girl, Mary loved playing with her cousins and siblings. She attended Eagle Bend Public School and in 1953 the family moved to St. Paul, Minn., where she attended school there. In 1959 she married Dale Naumann and they lived in Bertha, Minn., until moving to Anchorage in 1965. To this family were born three sons, Marty, Todd and Chad. In 1970 they started their own plumbing business where Mary did the bookkeeping.

In 1978 the family moved to Homer where she and Dale owned and operated Dale’s Plumbing Supply. Mary was a very artistic lady and loved artwork that included anything from Kachemak Bay. She also loved her little cabin on the bay.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Naumann; sons Marty and Todd; her parents; and her brother, Ervin Morrow.

Mary is survived by her son Chad and granddaughter Lexy of St. Cloud, Minn.; brothers, Marvin (Marlene) of Minnesota, Leroy (Diane) of Minnesota, David (Leora) of Sterling, and Jerry of Minnesota; sisters Lucille Kuehn of Minnesota, Rita Dassner of Minnesota and Margie (Gerald) Moe of Washington, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and friends. She will be dearly missed.

After cremation, Mary’s ashes will be spread in her beloved Kachemak Bay in front of her cabin at a later date.
