Former Homer News employee Lindsay Johnson married Graham Kraft Dec. 27, 2013, in Haines.  The ceremony was held at the couple’s lot overlooking Lynn Canal and officiated by Rachel Walton of Ketchikan. Afterwards, the 10-person party skied to sea level for an ocean plunge.  

The bride is the daughter of Dr. David and Jennifer Johnson of Ketchikan and a 2010 graduate of University of Alaska Anchorage. She wrote for the Homer News in 2010 and 2011 and also drove for Mako’s Water Taxi. These days she fishes commercially in southeast, makes art and works on her and Kraft’s house.

The groom is the son of John and Barb Kraft of Vernon, British Columbia. He is a 2011 graduate of UAA and cofounder of Fairweather Ski Works in Haines.
