Troopers seek Texas man missing in Homer
Alaska State Troopers have released more details about a Texas man they are searching for on the lower Kenai Peninsula.
John “Clint” Griffith, 40, was reported missing Sept. 2 after he failed to show up for work, troopers wrote. Troopers in Anchor Point are continuing their search for him, according to an online troopers dispatch.
Griffith was last seen around 11:20 a.m. Sept. 2 at O’Reilly’s in Homer, and may have been hitchhiking as he didn’t have access to a vehicle, according to the dispatch. He was last scene wearing a blue t-shirt and possibly blue jeans, troopers wrote.
Anyone who picked up Griffith Hitchhiking or saw him after that time is encouraged to contact the troopers at 907-262-4453.

Troopers said he was believed to be on foot and last seen in the city area of Homer on Saturday, Sept. 2.
Griffith was reported missing after he failed to show up for work.Griffith was reported wearing an orange jumpsuit with markings of M-I Swaco, an oilfield support service company.
He is about 175 pounds, 5-feet 9-inches tall, and has brown hair and hazel eyes. Griffith also missed scheduled flights to go home to Texas on Monday.
