Judgments

David W. Fry, 61, charge dismissed, hunting seasons and limits for brown bear.

John E. Capen, 53, charge dismissed, driving under the influence.

Noah J. Duncan, 16, charge dismissed, minor consuming alcohol. He pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $330 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.

Bonnie H. Curran, 59, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree theft. She was sentenced to 50 days in jail with 45 days suspended and ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to pay restitution and apply for an Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend; and was placed on probation for one year.

Sonja A. Beck, 25, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree theft. She was given a suspended imposition of sentence subject to the conditions that she perform 40 hours of community work service. She was ordered not to have contact with Ulmer’s Drug and Hardware and placed on probation for one year.

Jackson D. Miles, 42, Kodiak, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal trespass. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $100 suspended jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered not to have contact with Safeway; to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; and was placed on probation for one year.

Karen A. Nelson, 49, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. She was fined $500 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 89 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to provide a DNA sample on request; and was placed on probation for one year.
