Alaska State Troopers at 11:51 a.m. received a report of a burglary and theft at a Nikolaevsk home that happened within the past two weeks. The caller said someone stole three rifles and a radio. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-478-HALT (4258). Investigation continues.

Troopers at 1:44 p.m. received a report that a tote containing fishing gear and clothing was stolen from the area of the Whiskey Gulch beach access. The caller said a person in a teal-colored boat about 18-feet long approached the shore and someone jumped out and stole the tote. The person then got back into the boat and left. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-478-HALT (4258). Investigation continues.

A wildlife trooper at 5:23 p.m. contacted a 62-year-old Homer woman dipnetting on the Kenai River and cited her for personal use fishing without a sport fishing license in possession.
