Atwater staying put at KPBSDDr. Steve Atwater, superintendent of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District, will remain the superintendent. Atwater was a finalist for the same position with the Anchorage School District.
Young dancers delight
After three weeks with artist Jerry Falek of Santa Cruz, Calif., kindergarten- through sixth-grade students at McNeil Canyon Elementary School showed off for family and friends Thursday with an "Evening of Dance."
Roberts champion speller
On Jan. 26, Chapman second- through eighth-graders gathered in the gym for the spelling bee competition.The students, chosen by their classroom teachers on the basis of their spelling skills, met at lunchtime for several weeks to study for the spelling bee. The following students participated:
