Pet of the Week

Gladys keeps winning hearts and minds here at the shelter. This 2-year-old calico is a tad bit shy, very sweet and missing her kittens — already adopted out to wonderful homes.

Gladys dreams of a soft hand, a gentle touch and that one special home where she can live forever.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday,

noon-5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for information.
