A new show, "Northern Nights, Northern Lights," opens with a Second Friday reception from 5-7 p.m., at Ptarmigan Arts on East Pioneer Avenue. The show by various artists features work on a winter theme, with paintings, photographs, fused glass, encaustic, beading and fiber arts.
