A man at 12:32 p.m. reported a dispute over a credit card charge. Police responded and the issue was handled privately.

A man at 7:10 p.m. reported concerns over the welfare of a child.

A woman at 12:50 p.m. reported a man harassed her by phone.

A man at 12:56 p.m. reported being harassed by a woman and her boyfriend.

Dec. 30

A caller at 10 p.m. requested a welfare check on a boy. Police found the boy and determined all was OK.

Dec. 31

A caller at 3:08 a.m. made a 911 call of juveniles smoking marijuana in the Mount Augustine Drive area. Police responded.

A man at 11:51 a.m. made a 911 call of a possibly dead teenage boy at a Cityview Avenue home. Police and EMTs responded.

A man at 1:27 p.m. reported a car accident with injuries at Mile 2.5 East End Road. Police and EMTs responded.

Jan. 1

Police at midnight saw smoke in the Svedlund Street area and determined it was from a smoke flare. Police advised a person to stop shooting off flares.

A man at 12:13 a.m. reported hearing fireworks in the Highland Drive area.

A man at 5:49 p.m. made a 911 call of a drunk woman in the road trying to stop cars near Mile 3.5 East End Road. Police arrested a 45-year-old woman for disorderly conduct.

A woman at 10:51 p.m. reported a man outside her Kachemak Way home shouting profanities.

Jan. 2

A caller at 1:15 a.m. reported a disturbance at a Lakeshore Drive cabin. Police responded and arrested a 33-year-old man for assault.

A caller at 12:02 p.m. reported two cars parked in handicapped spaces on Fairview Avenue. Police contacted the drivers and told them to move.

A woman at 10:45 p.m. reported two juveniles possible drinking alcohol at the movie theater.

The Office of Children's Services at 11:51 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a boy over the weekend. Police did welfare checks at a Cityview Avenue home.

Jan. 3

A man at 3 p.m. reported a vicious dog on Lakeside Drive.

Police at 3:45 p.m. arrested a 28-year-old man on an outstanding warrant in the police station lobby.

Police at 10:57 p.m. received a 911 call with arguing being heard. Police went to an E Street home and found a woman had cut her wrists. EMTs took the woman to the hospital and made sure she was OK. Police took the woman into protective custody.

Jan. 4

Troopers at 12:20 a.m. reported a 911 call from a woman in the Alder Terrace Area who said she was locked out of where she was staying. Police responded and tried to call her back, but didn't reach her or find her.

A man at 7:10 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a homeless man on Greatland Street. Police found the man near the hospital where he asked for medical help. He was later taken to the station for protective custody.

A man at 8:01 p.m. reported a tenant broke a pipe at a Grubstake Avenue home and caused water damage.

Jan. 5

A woman at 10:57 a.m. reported her son might be the victim of identity theft.

A ma at 11:38 a.m. asked police to check on a high school student missing from school for a long time.

A man at 6:25 p.m. reported a moose-car collision on East End Road.
