Dec. 29

Alaska State Troopers at 1:57 a.m. arrested a 44-year-old Anchor Point man for driving under the influence and driving while license revoked after they contacted the man regarding a domestic disturbance in Anchor Point. Troopers took the man to Wildwood Pretrial Facility in Kenai.

Dec. 30

Troopers at 8:10 p.m. received a report that a 15-year-old boy was unconscious and not breathing at a Diamond Ridge home. Troopers allege three boys stole and took prescription medicine, causing an overdose in the 15-year-old boy. The boy was taken to South Peninsula Hospital where his condition stabilized. An investigation is continuing.

Jan. 1

Troopers at 8:38 p.m. went to a domestic disturbance at a Ninilchik area home. Troopers allege a 62-year-old Ninilchik man threatened his girlfriend with a rifle. Troopers responded and the man refused to leave his home or allow troopers to enter. After a brief standoff, troopers entered the home and arrested the man. Troopers said the man appeared highly intoxicated. He was charged with third-degree assault, domestic violence and fourth-degree weapons misconduct.

Jan. 2

Troopers at 8:03 p.m. went to a single-car rollover near Mile 166 Sterling Highway near Homer. Troopers allege the driver, a 39-year-old Washington man, was drunk and arrested him for DUI.

Jan. 3

Troopers at 1:17 a.m. stopped an 18-year-old Nikolaevsk man for an equipment violation. They allege he was drunk and arrested him for DUI and minor consuming alcohol.

A Homer woman at 3:26 p.m. reported a decorative metal plate worth $30 was stolen from her home. Troopers have identified several suspects.
