The Alaska SeaLife Center would like to thank Alaskans for making our 10th anniversary a great year. After 10 years building a solid foundation for our science, rehabilitation and education programs, the SeaLife Center is now poised to help the community and decision makers better understand the health of our ocean ecosystems and adapt to changing conditions.
It takes the support of the community to make a year-round business a success. Your support for our 10th Anniversary Block Party in May, our Holiday Party in December and our free 10th of the month offer throughout the year demonstrated your enthusiasm for the center and our mission.
We will continue to do our best to provide Alaskans and tourists with a unique window to life in our seas and encourage you to "stay tuned" as we upgrade our operations even further. Thank you for your support in 2008, and we look forward to seeing you again in 2009.
