South Peninsula Hospital

South Peninsula Hospital Community Education presents a six-week session on "Better Choices, Better Health," for people living with long-term illness and chronic conditions. Meetings will be held at 2:30-5 p.m. Thursdays, starting Jan. 27 until March 3 in the Friendship Center Assisted Living Facility A wing common room. An introductory class will be held from 3-4 p.m. Jan. 25 at the same location. Cost is $10 for the six-week session. Family and friends are encouraged to attend. South Peninsula Hospital offers a two-day "Safe Sitter" course 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 15 and 16, at the SPH Training Center. Cost is $70. For more information or to register, call 235-0258.
