Ski club sponsors Warren Miller film

The Kachemak Ski Club-Ohlson Mountain Rope Tow holds a benefit showing of "... Like There's No Tomorrow," the 62nd Warren Miller ski and snowboard film, at 7 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Homer Theatre. Narrated by Olympic Gold Medalist Jonny Moseley and shot on location on five continents, "...Like There's No Tomorrow" shows awesome, jaw-dropping skiing and snowboarding from New Hampshire's Mount Washington to Squaw Valley, Calif.; from the Himalayas in Gulmarg, India, to the southern hemisphere's highest peak in Portillo, Chile. General admission is $15; students and children are $10. Tickets are on sale at the Homer Bookstore and the Homer Theatre.

Pratt holds design workshop for new museum plan

The Pratt Museum holds a community design workshop from 5 to 7 p.m. today with architects from the museum's team at the museum.

Reader's Theater offered at HCOA on Monday night

Through its TheatreWorks Creative Community program, the Homer Council on the Arts at 7 p.m. Monday presents an evening of Reader's Theater at HCOA with Homer actors doing staged readings of four short plays by Alaska playwrights Dawson Moore, Schatzie Schaefers, Arlitia Jones and Mary Langham.
