Firefighters and emergency medical technicians went to 12 medical calls, three fire calls and two rescue calls.
Jan. 14
Firefighters at 8:13 p.m. went to the Homer Harbor for a dog that fell overboard off a boat. The dog's owner rescued the dog before firefighters arrived.
Jan. 15
Firefighters at about 6 p.m. went to Beluga Lake for a car that got stuck in overflow on the ice. A volunteer firefighter took his truck out to help the driver, got stuck himself and had to be pulled out by another driver in a larger truck. The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities closed the lake to car access.
