There are now a total of nine candidates who have announced their intention of entering the race for the city council in the upcoming Homer incorporation election. In addition to John Pate, Homer Thompson and "Bud" Uminski, who announced their intention of running last week, six others have notified the Homer News that they intend to throw their hats in the ring.
