Homer City Council holds a special meeting at 3 p.m. at Homer City Hall.

Homer Foundation criteria review for granting of city funds to nonprofits meets at 6 p.m. at Homer City Hall.

South Peninsula Hospital and the Snomads present a public forum by orthopedic surgeon Dr. S. Tower on snowmachine and ATV safety from 6-8 p.m. at the hospital conference rooms. Call 235-0258.

Sunday, Feb. 2

The Marine Corps League holds its annual Groundhog Day fund-raiser at 2 p.m. at the Anchor Point VFW. There will be a Chinese auction, a silent auction, a raffle and other activities.

Monday, Feb. 3

Tuesday, Feb. 4

Library Advisory Board meets at 6 p.m. at Homer City Hall.

The Central Peninsula Fish and Game Advisory Committee meets at 7 p.m. at the Ninilchik School Library to discuss Board of Game and Board of Fish Proposal 434. Call 567-3306.

Wednesday, Feb. 5

Kachemak Bay Investment Group meets from 9-11 a.m. at Homer City Hall.

Planning Commission holds a work session at 6 p.m. followed by its regular meeting at 7 p.m. at Homer City Hall.

Upcoming Events

A site visit starts at 11 a.m. for the 1 million-gallon storage reservoir followed by a pre-bid conference at 1 p.m. Feb. 6 at Homer City Hall.

South Peninsula Sportsmen's Association meets at 7 p.m. Feb. 6 in the basement of the Homer Methodist Church. A potluck supper precedes the meeting. Call 235-7427.

The Homer Fish and Game Advisory Committee meets at 6 p.m. Feb. 11, at the Homer Middle School to discuss Proposal 434 and Board of Game proposals. Call 235-2468.

The Paul Banks Kids Carnival is 1-4 p.m. Feb. 15 at the school. Call 235-6877.
