The chamber is going to give it one more try to have an awards ceremony. Please call the office at 235-2600 or e-mail apcoc@xyz.net to submit your nominations. We know there are some employers who would like to see an employee get recognized for “employee of the year,” as well as other citizens, youths and businesses that deserve some recognition. Awards will be given out at the Feb. 25 Snow Rondi Awards at the Anchor River Inn at 5:30 p.m.
The theme for this year’s Snow Rondi is “Look to the Heavens in 2007.” There is a lot of work to be done in preparation and Paul Voeller is rallying the directors. Donations are now being accepted for the annual auction that will be held Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Anchor River Inn. All donations will be accepted at the chamber office. Call 235-2600 for information.
The chamber also has paid for a booth at the Sullivan Arena Sportsman’s Show for March 30, 31 and April 1. People are needed to staff the booth, prizes for drawings and rack cards and coupons from local businesses.
