In spite of the late start, this year's Winter Carnival looks like it is going to be the best yet. Plan to watch the Winter Carnival parade, the hot rod races on Beluga Lake, the Homer Little Theatre production of "Homer TV Premier" and the various other activities scheduled for your enjoyment. Don't forget to make your guess on the bean jars scattered around town.
