Employees honored
Two Land's End employees, Carol Garcia and Deb Leib, were honored at the Alaska Hotel and Lodging Association's annual banquet in Anchorage. Both received at Stars of the Industry award. They were chosen by California hotel owners from a pool of statewide nominees selected by the employees respective managers based on work ethic, service record, attitude and longevity.
Bonini balances bodies
Sharon Bonini has opened Back in Balance Bodywork. She is available by appointment for massage therapy, energy and healing work on both people and animals. Bonini is a trained therapeutic masseuse, Reiki master, biogenesis practioner.
She also has worked as a lumi masseuse in Hawaii and with doctors of osteopathy, chiropractics and acupuncture.

Nomar to close for renovations
Nomar will be open through Feb. 15 when it will close for renovations. Reopening is planned for the first week in March. The boat shop will remain open for repairs, boat covers and cushions, spring boat work and limited retail sales. For more information, call 235-8363.
