Pet of the Week

If a very nice dog is what you had in mind, Zu’s your guy.

Somewhere between four and five years old, this neutered Lab-Rottweiler mix is terrific with kids, cats and dogs.

Want him to mind? He can do it.

Want him in the house? He’d love it.

In fact, being affectionate is what Zu is all about.

He does have one bad habit: chasing cars. So it’s a good thing he likes to walk with a leash.

If you’d like to adopt a pet, call or stop by the Animal Shelter across from Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday-Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for more information.
