Pet of the Week
A little girl found these puppies under an abandoned camp trailer when she walked by and the cute pups ran out to play. These 4-month-old puppies might be a border collie mix — you’d have to run one of those high-tech DNA tests to be sure. They’re very sweet and playful, and tired of living in the wild and ready to join a family where they’ll be fed, kept safe and loved.
If you’d like to adopt a pet, call or stop by the Animal Shelter across from Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday-Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for more information.
