Jan. 31

Police at 8:24 a.m. helped a woman who had locked herself out of her home.

A man at 9:45 a.m. asked police for assistance in removing unwanted people from his home.

A man at 2:09 p.m. reported a man who appeared to be drunk sitting on the beach who then left in a pickup truck from Bishop's Beach. Police contacted the man and warned him for driving under the influence.

Feb. 1

A man at 1:44 a.m. made a 911 call that drunk people almost hit his Spit Road home and drove away. Police cited two girls for minor consuming alcohol and issued a summons to a 20-year-old man for failure to provide proof of insurance and warned him for DUI.

A man at 2:41 a.m. made a 911 call that a driver backed into a pole near a fire hydrant and might be drunk. Police determined the driver wasn't drunk.

A caller at 12:46 p.m. reported an unoccupied car hit a water pipe on Soundview Avenue.

A caller at 9:22 p.m. reported someone outside a Svedlund Street home. Police responded and found the man left the area.

Feb. 2

A caller at 8:10 a.m. reported a young child staying in a hotel room with two adults who drank heavily.

A man at 12:53 p.m. reported someone burglarized a storage shed on East End Road.

A woman at 4:06 p.m. reported a dispute over a neighbor with a parking space on Main Street.

A man at 4:21 p.m. reported a person became verbally aggressive with him at a Main Street address. Police advised the man to leave the area.

A caller at 6:33 p.m. reported a domestic dispute on Svedlund Street. Police arrested a 48-year-old woman for fourth-degree assault and violating conditions of release.

Several people at 6:52 p.m. made 911 calls of an injured moose on East End Road.

Feb. 3

A caller at 4:05 a.m. reported a car slid off the road near Main Street and the Sterling Highway. Police issued a summons to the driver for driving in violation of an instructional permit.

A man at 7:52 a.m. reported he hit a moose while driving on Kachemak Drive.

A probation officer at 10:39 a.m. reported he contacted a person in possession of a controlled substance.

Several people at 12:52 p.m. made 911 calls of a two-car accident with injuries on Heath Street.

Police at 8:30 p.m. contacted a 27-year-old woman driving near Mile 171 Sterling Highway and arrested her for hindering prosecution and sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, marijuana. They also arrested a 25-year-old man for driving while license revoked.

Feb. 4

Police at 9:13 a.m. issued a summons to a 51-year-old man for not having liability insurance.

A man at 10:15 a.m. reported a person did not return rental equipment.

Police at 10:07 p.m. stopped a 19-year-old woman driving on East End Road and arrested her for DUI, sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, marijuana, and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Feb. 5

A caller at 12:01 p.m. reported an injured moose in a Kachemak Drive yard.

A man at 4:09 p.m. reported a car missing from an Ocean Drive business.

Police at 11:51 p.m. stopped a 30-year-old man driving near Mile 170 Sterling Highway and arrested him for DUI and driving while license suspended.

A caller at 11:26 a.m. reported a break-in at an Ocean Drive business.

A caller at 2:50 p.m. reported a break-in at another Ocean Drive business.
