The Kachemak Bay Research Reserve is offering a free class, Subtidal Habitats: Life Below the Surface Discovery Lab, Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 3-5 p.m. at the Alaska Islands & Ocean Visitor Center. For more information, call Carmen at 226-4659.
The Kachemacs Macintosh User Group meets the first Thursday of the month at the Homer Public Library from 6-8 p.m. Call Diane at 235-0714 for more information.
The Ohlson Mountain rope tow hours of operation are 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sundays, conditions permitting. Call 235-7669 for updates.
The Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies has a free snowshoe loan program 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, at 708 Smokey Bay Way. Call 235-6667.

Homer Pubic Library
Knitting circle is 3-5 p.m. Mondays.
Children's storyhour is 10-11 a.m. Wednesdays.
Infant lapsit is 11:30 a.m.-noon Thursdays.

Homer Senior Citizens
Homer Senior Citizens lunch is open to seniors and their guests and is served 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Lunch menu for this week is: today, cheese enchiladas; Friday, chili; Monday: closed; Tuesday, roast beef; Wednesday, taco bar.

Kachemak Bay Campus
Registration is now going on for these classes: Boating Safety and Navigation, MS Word and Excel, Digital Camera Use, Beginning Birding, Stream Ecology, Seaweeds of Kachemak Bay, Global Climate Change, Boating Safety and Navigation and more. Call 235-7743 for more information.
Foreign Films Fridays is held each Friday at 7 p.m. at the East Campus. Friday's feature is "The Willow Tree," a 2005 Iranian film.

Pratt Museum
Forest Explorers is a new free weekly outdoor program for kids at the Pratt Museum. All kids participating must be dressed for the outdoors regardless of the weather. Forest Explorers is offered in February, every Tuesday (preschool through first grade) and Thursday (second through sixth grade) from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

South Peninsula Hospital<br> South Peninsula Hospital celebrates February as Heart Health Month with a community forum, discounted rates on diagnostic services and informational opportunities.
