Has anyone seen the blue tarp and tent frame taken from Beluga Lake Friday night? Mike Devaney of D & D Welding so generously set up his tent on Beluga Lake Friday night so it would be ready for Homer Head Start to use as shelter for its fundraising efforts at the ice races on Saturday. Sadly, the tent was gone when children and parents arrived Saturday to set up their booth to serve hot drinks and goodies to racers and spectators. If anyone knows the whereabouts of this tent, we would greatly appreciate your help in returning it to Mike. We will gladly pick it up. Please call Head Start at 235-4322.
