Feb. 7

A man at 9:59 a.m. reported an attempted break in at a Lakeshore Drive business.

A woman at 8:35 p.m. made a 911 call reporting a dispute with her drunk husband over children. The woman came to the police station to speak with an officer.

A person at 10:20 p.m. made a 911 call of a loose dog causing a dog fight on Beluga Circle. Police responded and returned a dog to its owner.

A caller at 10:46 p.m. reported a taxi driver driving dangerously on East End Road.

Feb. 8

A man at 1:19 p.m. reported a trailer came loose from a vehicle on Lake Street and ended up in the road.

A woman at 10:24 p.m. reported someone stole a stereo system from her car parked on Fairview Avenue.

Feb. 9

Police at 1:44 a.m. seized license plates from a car because the plate and registration tab didn't match in records.

A man at 9:30 a.m. reported an aggressive driver with a weapon on the Sterling Highway.

A man at 3:55 p.m. made a 911 call of a domestic dispute over a television set. Police responded.

Police at 5:29 p.m. issued a summons to a 24-year-old man for failure to maintain liability insurance.

A man at 5:21 p.m. reported three horses in the road on Rogers Loop. Police responded but couldn't find the horses.

A caller at 7:36 p.m. reported suspicious activity near a Sterling Highway business with people loitering around a car.

Feb. 10

A Fairview Avenue property owner at 11:11 a.m. reported receiving several complaints about a tenant yelling at his child and other tenants.

A caller at 6:25 p.m. reported items taken from an unlocked car parked at a Ben Walters Lane address.

Feb. 11

A caller at 6:27 a.m. reported a man being belligerent and causing problems at a Bartlett Street address. Police responded and arrested a 49-year-old man for criminal trespass.

Several people at 2:20 p.m. made 911 calls of a bicyclist-car collision on the Sterling Highway. EMTs and police responded. Police allege a bicyclist exiting the Alaska USA parking lot hit a car turning into the lot. The bicyclist did not wear a helmet and was taken to the hospital.

An off duty officer at 3:48 p.m. reported seeing a vehicle linked to a wanted subject driven near Mile 170 Sterling Highway. Police responded and determined the suspect car was not being driven by a wanted person.

A caller at 5 p.m. reported seeing a wanted suspect in the Homer area. Police investigated.

Feb. 12

A man at 4:56 p.m. asked to speak with police about problems in his home in the Mountain View Avenue area.

Feb. 13

Police at 1:22 a.m. stopped a 36-year-old man driving on East End Road near East Hill Road and arrested him for driving under the influence and driving while license canceled.

A woman at 9:50 a.m. turned in bullets she found.

A man at 1 p.m. reported windows broken out of a car parked on the Homer Spit.

A man at 10:48 p.m. reported hearing suspicious activity at a building on Pioneer Avenue. Police responded and found the building was secure.
