Lovin' the sun! It's chilly, but that sunshine can put a smile on anyone's face. Filling up the gas tank this morning brought some troubling news of gas prices going up in the next couple of days. Uffda! Snow Rondi is Feb 24-27. There are many events planned for a fun, family weekend. Hope to see many at the Roderick fundraiser on Friday night. Have a great weekend and be safe. Anchor Point Chamber of Commerce Look for the schedule of events for Snow Rondi weekend in Anchor Point businesses. Come out and play. Anchor Point Senior Center Tonight's dinner will be country fried steak and all the fixings. Friday Night Bingo starts at 7 p.m. You're invited. Chapman School Chapman staff is holding a fundraiser for Carolyn Roderick from 6-8 p.m. Friday. Spaghetti, salad, bread and dessert will be served. Also, there will be a silent auction. If anyone would like to donate for this, please contact Chris Crum or Debbie Poindexter at the school, 235-8671. 8 Mile Band will perform. She needs our support as she is battling brain cancer. VFW Post 10221 Saturday is Steak Night from 6-8 p.m. Karaoke will follow at 9 p.m. Monday is taco night and Friday is burger and brew night. The post's backroom is a nonsmoking room available for anyone coming to our events. Members and guests are welcome.
