The Anchor Point Chamber is ready to Rondi. The festivities kick off with the ever-popular benefit auction at 7 tonight at the Anchor River Inn. The Snow Rondi auction is the chamber's "fun"-raiser to benefit the annual Snow Rondi celebration. Join the chamber for this special event by donating an item and participating in the auction to help kick off the Snow Rondi celebration.

For the kids — or those who are kids at heart — you can enjoy a free movie at Chapman School from 6-8 p.m. Friday. This year's film is "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs," rated G. Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian. The Snow Rondi official button artwork is by Alyssa Nehren-Rawls, a fifth-grader at Chapman School.

Anchor Point Senior Center

Tonight's dinner will be stuffed pork chops. The salad bar opens at 5:30 p.m. and dinner is served at 6 p.m. The center will have its community breakfast on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m.-noon. Friday night is Bingo Night starting at 7 p.m.

Anchor River Inn

The inn is the spot for several Snow Rondi events, including the auction at 7 tonight; the Ken Wardwell Memorial Pool Tournament beginning at 7 p.m. Friday (all pool players need to be signed up before the auction on Thursday); and the Texas Hold 'Em finals tournament and non-tournament open play Saturday.

Saturday night there will be some dancing fun with 8 Mile Band starting at 8 p.m. Sunday is the monthly fish fry from 4-6 p.m. Monday night is taco night and Friday is burger and brew night. Members and guests are welcome.
