Christmas movie to be filmed in Seward
ANCHORAGE A Hollywood production crew is set to film a movie in Seward called "Christmas with a Capital C" and starring Daniel Baldwin.
KTUU reports producers set the film in the Kenai Peninsula town because of its small-town feel and the incentive of Alaska's film tax credit.
The film is about a legal dispute keeping the Christmas nativity out of government buildings. But Baldwin says the grinch has a change of heart. The cast is largely made up of talent from Alaska. Seward High School students will be extras in the movie. It will be released on DVD for next Christmas.
