Firefighters and emergency medical technicians went to four medical calls and two fire calls.

Feb. 17

Firefighters at 7:20 p.m. went to a report of a structure fire with flames coming through the roof west of Diamond Ridge Road. Firefighters responded and determined the fire was near Anchor Point. Anchor Point firefighters determined the fire was a large logging slash burn near the Old Sterling Highway. Firefighters ask landowners burning slash to call local fire departments and notify them of burn piles. KES can be called at 235-9811.
