Feb. 13

Bureau of Highway Patrol Troopers at 7:23 p.m. stopped a 62-year-old Homer man driving a blue 2002 Ford pickup near Mile 132 Sterling Highway in Ninilchik for a traffic violation. Troopers allege the man was drunk and arrested him for driving under the influence and fourth-degree weapons misconduct.

Feb. 20

Troopers at 10:09 p.m. went to a single-vehicle rollover near Mile 137 Sterling Highway in Ninilchik. A 50-year-old Ninilchik man driving south in a 2007 Ford pickup lost control on ice, totaling his truck. The man wore his seat belts and had minor injuries. Troopers cited him for negligent driving.
