Richie Havens concert cancelled

Black Feather Poets move to Bunnell

The Richie Havens concert scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled, Downward Dog Productions promoter Mike Hayes announced today. A low number of advance ticket sales caused Havens' agent to cancel the show, Hayes said.

Oba William King, Oscar "Triple Blak" Lester and the Black Feather Poets, the opening act for Havens, will still perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Bunnell Street Arts Center on Saturday. Tickets are a suggested $15 donation, but under Bunnell's pay-as-you-can policy, no one will be turned away.
