Pet of the Week

Got a lonesome heart? Have you been dragged through the tumbleweeds of life? Well, dang it all, what you need is a sweetheart like Ellsa to cuddle up on your lap. This longhaired, 5-year-old tabby girl loves listening to country music and being brushed and petted. She'll be your rootin' tootin' partner for life in return for a lot of lovin' and a good parcel of kitty kibble.

If you would like to adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, noon-5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for information.
