March madness is here and bringing with it a little snow. I would like to thank the Anchor Point Chamber of Commerce and all the volunteers and especially the fire department and EMTs for traffic control for another year of Snow Rondi. As we were lining up for the parade, there was a slight chill in the air. We all stood waiting for all the other parade participants, which fell very short this year.
As we turned the corner out of the parking lot of Hashbrowns, we began our march down the highway. There seemed to be a lot more spectators than last year, which was very welcoming. The mild weather seemed to bring more people out and about. Hope you all had a good time. We hope more of the community will help with entries in the 2010 Snow Rondi Parade.

Tonight's dinner will be corned beef and cabbage.
The center is making big plans to have another three-day Bingo Extravaganza. The dates have not been narrowed down, but there will be flyers out in the community once a date has been set. For now, bingo night is every Friday beginning at 7 p.m. It's a great night of fun and laughter. The community breakfast is set for March 15 from 9 a.m. until noon. On March 19, there will be speakers from United Way doing a presentation after dinner. Please attend.
There will be a St. Patty's Day party March 15. March 21 is Steak Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Karaoke with Tom will follow at 9 p.m. Congratulations to Bob Picard for winning the log splitter. The monthly fish fry will be from 4-6 p.m. March 29. Members and guests are welcome.
