Cirque, a new journal published in Anchorage, seeks poetry, prose, art work and photography. Focusing on the North Pacific Rim, Cirque invites submissions from emerging and established artists living in Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Yukon Territory, Albert and British Columbia. The deadline for the June inaugural issue is April 1.
To submit work, send prose or poetry as an attached Word document in 12-point fonts with the subject line "poetry submission," "fiction submission" etc. Prose should be no more than 10 pages. Send artwork or black-and-white photos as high-resolution JPEG files. Replies average two months. Payment is in copies. Send work to Michael Burwell, editor, at cirquejournal@yahoo.com.
