2 Land's End employees win statewide awards

The Stars of the Industry Awards program was created to honor and celebrate outstanding service and achievements in the hospitality industry. It recognizes employees, managers, properties and businesses that best symbolize the highest quality service of the industry. The following people from Land's End Resort in Homer were selected as finalists for the statewide awards:

Jean Adams — Food & Beverage Employee of the Year

Katie Dawson — Food & Beverage Employee of the Year

Michael Cox – Maintenance Employee of the Year

Josh Garvey — Rising Star Award

Aliene Sargeant — Housekeeping Employee of the Year

James McGee — Maintenance/Security Employee of the Year

Zoya Greene — Administrative Employee of the Year.

A panel of judges reviews all nominations from all over the state and selects the winners.

"We'd like to congratulate all of the nominees and the statewide award winners Jean Adams and James McGee," said Lea Miller of Land's End in a press release. "We here at Land's End are proud to have such an outstanding team."
