Youths hoop up $3,000 for club

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the kind folks that participated and pledged for our very successful Hoop-A-Thon, here at the Boys & Girls Club. It sure was a hit, allowing community children to raise funds for their club. You have been a major component in their philanthropic endeavors.

The event took place more than three weeks ago and it looks like the pledges have all been collected. We have raised almost $3,000 for our club. Funds will be used to help us continue to provide safe, positive and quality after school programs for local youth.

It is not only about being a youth advocate, but investing in the future of our community and beyond.
