Armageddon Cafe and the Alaska Meth Education Project hold Meth360, a meth-prevention event, at 6 p.m. March 20 at 397 East Pioneer Ave. Speakers include Julie Woodworth, business banking manager at Wells Fargo Bank, and Tess Daily of the Alaska Meth Education Project. "Found Among Stones" presents a concert following the event. Meth360 teaches parents, teenagers and concerned citizens about how to reduce the demand for the highly addictive drug methamphetamine. A public meeting as part of the federal performance evaluation of the Kachemak Bay Research Reserve is 6 p.m. April 29, 2009, at the Alaska Islands and Ocean Visitor Center Seminar Room. The purpose of the meeting is to receive public comments on the operation and implementation of the Kachemak Bay Research Reserve since its April 2006 evaluation.
