Wrestlers as young as six were divided by weight class and lined up for competition at one of four mats spread throughout the gym.

Ethan Pitzman, representing Homer's Popeye Wrestling Club in the bantam division, competes in the Popeye Wrestling Tournament, held Saturday at the Alice Witte Gymnasium.
Young wrestler Gavriel Kalugin, in the 85-pound division, also took first place.
Mariner wrestler Mitch Wyatt, coming off a strong showing in the high school season, looked particularly dominant at the tournament, besting four opponents on his way to a first place finish in the Junior 171-pound division.
