Bottom Feeder Theatre presents “Hookin’ Up,” a collection of short modern plays directed by Craig Phillips. The plays run at 7:30 p.m. March 22, 23, 24, 30, 31 and April 1 at the Homer Council on the Arts. Tickets are $12 general admission and $10 HCOA members. ‘Max’s Wall’ on display at Ptarmigan Arts
“Max's Wall,” an art fund-raiser for Max Haggerty at Ptarmigan Arts, ends March 30. Art lovers wanting to help Max and his family are invited to view and purchase artwork donated by local artists.

Filmmaker wins audience choice
Homer filmmaker Clinton Edminster’s “Bathroom Bash” won the Audience Choice Award at the Homer International Film Festival for Children.
“Bathroom Bash” was one of four Alaska films shown at the festival and eligible for the award. The Audience Choice Award recognizes Alaska filmmakers, especially young adult filmmakers, for their work.
‘Beauty and the Bug’ coming up
Artists have until March 20 to submit proposals for the Pratt Museum’s “Beauty and the Bug” exhibit starting April 6. Visual and literary artists are invited to enter one piece.
