John Franklin taught life lessons
I don’t know what makes a lot of people take things for granted in this life, but unfortunately it takes hitting bottom in one’s life or having people you care about die. I am writing this for two reasons that I was taught by John but it took his death to learn.
No. 1: No matter what it is you like to do, have fun. Live every second of every minute of every hour like it’s one’s last. If you knew John Franklin, that’s the way he lived. Whether duck hunting, fishing, moose hunting, working, he never missed a sunrise or tide or sunset.
No. 2: If helping you, he never quit. If talking to you, he always had time to listen and give advice.
So whatever it is you like, make the very most of it and don’t look back. Life is very, very short.
I learned a lot from John and I hope everyone has a chance for someone like him in their life.
Sure going to miss you, John.

Marty Frederick
